LDC Leader Cllr James MacCleary welcomes the £4,367,000 funding for the district announced today through the UK government Getting Building Fund. This includes £1.3m to refurbish the former UTC building in Newhaven, support for a new Creative Hub in Lewes as well as funding for Charleston House and a new project aimed at using solar energy to power railways.
