Breakfast adventure: How to be an Explorer

Tiger Cox

This may be an unusual headline for a Chamber of Commerce but one we couldn’t resist as it is the title of a book written by one of our members, Tiger Cox.

This riveting breakfast presentation was indeed out of the ordinary and involved doves, magnets and a whole host of interesting facts. Written for children aged 8-12, the book came about because of Tiger’s fascinating childhood. Aged 12, he was taken out of school to sale the coastlines and cross the Atlantic to far-away places with his parents. Enjoying a more unusual education, aboard a homebuilt catamaran, Tiger’s schooling was very much focused on the natural world. He certainly has a knack of making learning interesting like no-one else in the chamber can do.

But why listen to our explanation? We filmed Tiger talking about his adventurous childhood.
