These awards celebrate professionalism, creativity, innovation, resilience and business excellence.

We are delighted to announce that the Seahaven Business Awards 2023 will take place on Friday 12 May 2023 at a glittering Awards Ceremony and Dinner. Our celebrity host for the evening is John Young, a BBC presenter and reporter for 30 years.

Seahaven Business Awards Entries are now closed for 2023

The Awards are now open for entries for all businesses, and you don’t have to be a member of a local Chambers of Commerce to enter. You can use the online form below or download an entry/nomination form.

The awards are for all businesses located or operating in the Seahaven area (Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven). We are keen to invite a wide range of entries from a wide variety of businesses.

As your local chambers of commerce, Newhaven, Seaford and Peacehaven provide this unique opportunity for local businesses and business people to showcase their success and raise their company’s profile.

Why enter the Seahaven Business Awards?

Nominating a business or person, or putting forward your own business, is free and easy. Completing an application form will showcase some of the great things that you, and your staff, have done over the past year or two and highlight your achievements.

Seven award categories:

Business of the Year – sponsored by The Newhaven Enterprise Zone

Business Person of the Year – sponsored by Swindell’s Chartered Accountants

Best Environmental Business – sponsored by Fine Marketing

Best Customer Service – sponsored by The Sussex Sign Company

Best New Business (start on or after 1 Jan 2021) – sponsored by The Newhaven Enterprise Centre

Best Eatery – sponsored by Experience It Now Travel

President’s Award for Artistic Enterprise – sponsored by Mike Shorer Fine Jewellery

Three businesses will be shortlisted in each category. All finalists will be invited to the Awards Ceremony and Dinner at Jerrom Hall, Peacehaven on Friday, 12 May 2023. We look forward to welcoming the Lord Lieutenant for East Sussex, the Vietnamese Ambassador for the UK and Ireland, local MPs Maria Caulfield and Lloyd Russell-Moyle, and Sussex VIPs to celebrate our local business successes.

Closing date for nominations was Friday, 24 March, 2023. The winners will receive trophies designed by Mike Shorer Fine Jewellery.
