The Seahaven Business Awards 2018 were held at the President’s Award Dinner, a glittering occasion, on May 11th, when hosts, Newhaven Chamber of Commerce in association with Seaford and Peacehaven Chambers, held their annual business awards at Jerrom Hall, Peacehaven.
It was a fabulous evening with over 100 guests attending in the presence of Deputy Lieutenant for East Sussex, David Allam and His Excellency Ambassador Tran Ngoc An of Vietnam together with local MPs Maria Caulfield and Lloyd Russell-Moyle, the towns’ three Mayors and all three Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce.
The event is well supported by local sponsors and the event was judged this year by the two MPs, the President of the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Peacehaven & District Chamber and the Mayors of Seaford and Newhaven.
President of Newhaven Chamber, Mike Shorer said ‘The Seahaven Business Awards are a celebration of the success of businesses in the Newhaven area and this year we have attracted a record number of nominations for a great variation of enterprises, from sole traders to global distributors.
Newhaven is undergoing a dynamic regeneration in the business sector which is planned to expand into leisure and the growing artistic movement, and it is a good time to expand your business and help us create a Newhaven of which we can all be justly proud.’
