THE 20TH ANNUAL SEAHAVEN BUSINESS AWARDS
WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2025 AWARD FINALISTS
As we get closer to the grand Awards Ceremony and Dinner on 9th May, we would like to celebrate the achievements of our finalists and congratulations to all those who have made it to the final. We received over 380 entries and standard was very high. Our judges had a difficult job selecting the finalists from over 90 companies.
We would like to thank everyone who submitted entries for their businesses, and to the hundreds of people who submitted nomination forms for the businesses they felt deserved recognition.
Our MC for the Awards this year is John Young, well known for presenting and reporting BBC News for over 30 years. The Awards Ceremony & Dinner will be attended by Deputy Lieutenant Mr Tim Cobb, H. E. Mr Do Minh Hung, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and his wife, Mrs. Dang Tu Anhour. We will also have the pleasure of local MP James MacCleary, Leader of Lewes District Council Cllr. Zoe Nicholson, Cllr. Chris Collier and Cllr Cathy Gallagher, and the Mayors of Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven as well as the 3 local Chamber Presidents.
To celebrate the Awards 20th Anniversary, the glittering awards evening will be held at the Amex, and will include a reception and a two-course dinner before the eight awards are announced. Our charity for the night is SERV Sussex, that provides transport services for blood, blood products and other urgent medical items for NHS Hospitals across Sussex.
The service is provided free of charge to the NHS between the hours of 7pm and 6am, Monday to Friday and 24 hours at weekends and Bank Holidays via a committed team of volunteer riders and drivers mainly using their own vehicles at their own expense.
