Thanks to Harveys Brewery for their unique and fantastic brewery tour which members of the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce thoroughly enjoyed last Thursday. We were guided around by Edward Jenner who obviously loves what his work and this passion shone through from the start. He captivated everybody with his enthusiasm and stories of old from the days of setting up the brewery, the brewing history and its processes and the ability to create unique flavours. Plus, there was even a ghost story or two from the historic and atmospheric brewery buildings!
If you are a fan of real ale, as we are, then this is for you. It lasted around two hours, culminating in a tasting session of 5-6 different ales, all of which were utterly delicious! It’s a long waiting list but put your name down – you will not regret it!
