We are delighted to announce that the Seahaven Business Awards 2026 will take place on Friday 8 May 2026 at a glittering Awards Ceremony and Dinner. Our celebrity host for the evening is John Young, a BBC presenter and reporter for over 30 years and we welcome our new Gold Sponsors, Quintessence Fragrances.
Our 2026 awards are now open for entries!
The awards are open for entries from all businesses, and you don’t have to be a member of a local Chambers of Commerce to enter.

The SBA awards are for all businesses located or operating in the Seahaven area (Seaford, Newhaven, Peacehaven and Telscombe district). We are keen to invite a wide range of entries from a wide variety of businesses.
As your local chambers of commerce, Newhaven, Seaford and Peacehaven & Telscombe district provide this unique opportunity for local businesses and business people to showcase their success and raise their company’s profile.
Why enter the Seahaven Business Awards?
Nominating a business or person, or putting forward your own business, is free and easy. Completing an application form will showcase some of the great things that you, and your staff, have done over the past year or two and highlight your achievements.

Best New Business (under 2 years old as of 1/1/2026)) – sponsored by The Newhaven Enterprise Centre
Best Health, Fitness and Wellbeing Business – sponsored by Experience It Now Travel
President’s Award for Artistic Enterprise – sponsored by Mike Shorer Fine Jewellery
Three businesses will be shortlisted in each category.
New Tourism & Leisure Award
The new Tourism & Leisure Award celebrates a tourism or leisure business that has helped Seahaven thrive by bringing more visitors into the area and creating opportunities for other local businesses to grow.
Awards Ceremony and Dinner
All finalists will be invited to the Awards Ceremony and Dinner at Amex Stadium, Falmer on Friday, 8 May 2026. Our VIP guests will include the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex, the Vietnamese Ambassador for the UK and Ireland, H.E. Mr. Do Minh Hung and our local MPs.

Closing date for nominations is Friday 13 March, 2026. The winners will receive trophies designed by Mike Shorer Fine Jewellery.
