Seahaven Business Awards 2025 winners

Well, what an evening our 20th Seahaven Business Awards turned out to be! Congratulations to all everyone for making it such a magnificent event!

Let us give you a short rundown of the Friday, 9 May to let everyone know the results – those lucky enough to have been part of the 20th Anniversary of the Seahaven Business Awards, will have already have been sharing across social media but for those of you who haven’t, here is a brief description of the glamorous night at the Amex Stadium. 

The evening started with a warm welcome to Tim Cobb, a Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex, Director of Fox & Bear and a past President of Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce, the Vietnamese Ambassador, Mr Do Minh Hung and James MacCleary MP, Leader of Lewes District Council Cllr. Zoe Nicholson, Cllr. Chris Collier and Anna Christie, CEO of Sussex Chamber of Commerce. It was a pleasure to see Newhaven, Seaford, Peacehaven and Telscombe Mayors and all three Presidents of the local Chambers.

Our MC for the evening, John Young, who you may remember from South-East Today, gave us all an amusing reminder of 20 years ago. Guests enjoyed excellent dinner, a raffle and the auction of a beautiful topaz necklace crafted by Mike Shorer. The charity of the night was SERV Sussex and the proceeds from the auction and raffle raised an amazing £3,000. 

Prizes had been donated by local business and our neighbouring Chambers, Seaford and Peacehaven. Thank you all!

We then had the famous Parade of Trophies and the evening started in earnest with presentation of the awards. The results are below and official pictures by our photographer Matt Harquail will be added in the next 24-48 hours, plus a gallery of photos.

The Seahaven Business Awards recognise businesses which have remarkable resilience, innovation, success, and commitment to staff and who take pride in being part of the community. The Seahaven Business Awards 2025 winners were presented with trophies made by goldsmith Mike Shorer. Each trophy weighs 4kg and is made from solid aircraft grade alloy, anodised gold and then hand engraved and hand enamelled.
