This year the President's Award is open to talented makers who have turned their hobbies and passions into a business. The award is open to sole traders and talented professionals who run a business making and selling their artistic products or skills as their main income. For example, this could be music, art, crafts, jewellery, needlework, sculpture, cabinetry, glasswork and much more.

We are looking for a creative entrepreneur or enterprise, not a creative piece of work. Someone who has changed their life by turning their passion into profit, and a successful business.

When entering, please consider the follow criteria to give your application the best chance of success.

• How you have supported your staff during the past year (staff training, health, wellbeing) 
• The challenges you may have faced over the faced couple of years from recruiting staff, Covid, rising production costs etc. and how you have overcome them. 
• Describe the quality of your products and/or services 
• If you have introduced innovation or new products 
• How you have improved customer service 
• What makes your business stand out from the competition
• Your objectives for the next 3 years.
