Recruitment events at Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils

Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils are recruiting to a number of roles across a range of service areas, including housing, planning and licensing.

This recruitment drive comes in the midst of an exciting transformation programme, integrating the services and systems of the two councils.

To offer you the chance to find out more about the transformation and the job opportunities we are holding two recruitment events in January.

First event
Where: Lewes District Council, Southover House, Southover Road, Lewes, BN7 1AB
When: Saturday 13 January 2018 between 10am and 4pm

Second Event
Where: Eastbourne Borough Council, 1 Grove Road, BN21 4TW
When: Saturday 20 January 2018 between 10am and 4pm

Southover House is easily accessible via Lewes station, whilst 1 Grove Road is just a short walk from Eastbourne railway station. Limited street parking is available at both locations. Drop in any time between 10am – 4pm on either of the days.

The event will be attended by employees across a range of teams including Customer Contact, Casework and Specialist Services. You’ll be able to hear a first-hand account of what it’s like to work at Eastbourne Borough and Lewes District Councils and the day to day responsibilities of your potential role.

There will also be the opportunity to speak to managers and representatives from Human Resources, so you can find out everything you need to know about the councils, our values and the surrounding area.
